NBSC MEETS WITH CONGRESSMAN ALBA TO CELEBRATE AND SUPPORT BLEPT SCHOLARS
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) participated in a gathering held on January 8, 2026, at the Bamboo Pavilion in Barangay Damilag, Manolo Fortich, where Congressman Jose Manuel “Joeman” F. Alba, Representative of the 1st Legislative District of Bukidnon, together with his wife Maria Lourdes “Malou” Acosta-Alba, a former Congresswoman herself, met with the College’s Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) Scholars.
Congressman Alba spoke with the BLEPT Scholars and offered support and encouragement, recognizing their accomplishments and dedication as newly licensed professional teachers. The meaningful exchange allowed everyone in attendance to interact directly with the Congressman and share their thoughts.
The BLEPT Scholars present were Judy Anne A. Amarillo, LPT, and Michaella C. Dosol, LPT (Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, BECEd); Marialyn L. Gawahan, LPT, and Home Nissi Lou P. Jaraula, LPT (Bachelor of Elementary Education, BEED); Christine T. Landayan, LPT, and Ronald John P. Esclamado, LPT (Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English, BSEd – English); and Janice Rose A. Saba, LPT, Ma. Angelica A. Garcia, LPT, and Jean Mikhaila Q. Realiza, LPT (Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics, BSEd – Mathematics).
The scholars were accompanied by Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, SUC President I; Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, Vice President for Academic Affairs; and College Board Secretary Caroline Laarni R. Sereñas.
Engagements like this highlight the importance of providing graduates with the guidance they need as they take the next step in their careers. NBSC continues to nurture the professional growth of its graduates even after they have completed their studies. Congressman Alba’s contribution further enhances these efforts, helping to empower future teachers and support the continued development of education within the province.
